Hey folks, i posted on the Hard Corps topic a few days back, but some people seem to skip it and head straight to writing down their issues. So to save time and these struggles, im just going to go ahead and make the topic.

This has solved 100% of my issues and hopefully it will yours.

Follow these exact instructions, if you have issues related to installing/get kicked then i suggest you follow the solutions i list here.

OK so here it goes: (NOT A VIDEO - But follow these exact instructions)

If you have previously played Hard Corps but can't get it to work at 1.4.4, then delete all the files associated with Hard Corps - ie. @somcz, @acex, @acez, @cba_oa, @cba, @cba_a2 (GO AHEAD AND DOWNLOAD THE FULL 1.4.4 TORRENT)

If you haven't played Hard Corps before, then GO AHEAD AND DOWNLOAD THE FULL 1.4.4 TORRENT)

(Once it is downloaded follow these steps)

- Download 1.4.4 Full Torrent
- Delete Files associated with Hard Corps (Read Above)
- Extract the files from the Torrent (ALL FILES) into the Arma OA folder - Note: userconfig will ask to copy/replace files, just hit yes
- Rename cbaz, cba_oaz, cba_a2z, (JUST DELETE THE Z) - So as not to get confused
- Pause and check
- You should have extracted 6 files over, @Somcz, @CBAz, @CBA_OAz, @CBA_A2z and @ACEz

- Go into your @ACEz folder and in it search for "acex_missions" (TWO FILES WILL SHOW UP. acex_missions.pbo and acex_missions_bc_oa.pbo) DELETE THESE
- Go into your ROOT folder for your Arma 2 OA, and find your ARMA 2 OA BETA LAUNCHER or PATCH - Create a shortcut and paste on desktop.
- Right click the shortcut and go to properties
- Navigate to the (TARGET) tag and you should see a command line that goes like this " "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe"
- At the end of arma2oa.exe" hit space and copy this exact text over and paste it in. (BELOW)

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@SOMCz;@ACEz;@ACEX;@JSRS_ACE;@JSRS1.4;@CBA;@CBA_OA;@CBA_A2 -world=empty

(NOTE: IF you aren't using JSRS, then just delete the text.

Double click the Shortcut and it should load you in. If done correctly then it will work for you without any more tampering. Filter for Survival Ops and get crackin.

PLEASE NOTE: IT IS BEST TO START FROM SCRATCH, there is no point going back and forth tinkering with little things, you'll just end up messing up more things. I had heaps of issues trying to get 1.4.4 to work, so i deleted everything, then Arma II launcer screwed up, so i reverted to using the Beta Patch shortcut, works a charm.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

:::You cannot edit/play this mission, it is dependant on deleted.chernarus:::
FIX: Navigate to your Arma 2 folder (Note: NOT your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Folder) in your directory. In the Arma 2 Folder locate the Addons folder, COPY AND PASTE the Addon folder into your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead directory. (Note: It is 8GB, make sure you have room)

:::Getting kicked/Game Crashes:::
FIX: Open up steam, go to library, right click Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead, go to properties, click on the Local Files tab and click "Verify Integrity of Cache" wait for it to finish and start up the game again, if you are using Arma II launcher, the crashes could be associated with this. Apply the command line mentioned in the above tutorial into your Arma 2 OA beta patch.

Disregard my second post on the Hard Corps 1.4.4 thread. A fresh install of the Somcz full 1.4.4 fixed it.

Thanks for posting this, I updated only yesterday and following your guide (I was already using the launchsomcz.bat file from the 1.4.2 download) and it worked perfectly.

Really nice tutorial and well explained, But I have a pretty annoying problem and I got no idea where it comes from, It's a fresh arma 2 and arma 2 ao install, I coppied the addons folder into the arma 2 ao folder and then followed your guide to install the mod pack. But then when I launch the game from the shortcut I get the following, http://i49.tinypic.com/2en9maa.jpg
I really got no clue where this comes from but I'll try to fix it while waiting to see if some one knows how to fix this.

Ok whenever I try to join the server it says "Include file x/cba/addons/script_macros__common.hpp not found." .Anyhelp would be appreciated.Message me if you need to talk to me.

So I did exactly as you stated above and deleted the JSRS lines since i'm not going to bother with it right now. However when i launch from that shortcut i just get "x\cba\addons\main\script_macros_common" Could this be somehpw related to my not using JSRS, though i have a feeling its a stupid mistake on my part.

for some reason whenever i downgraded to 98836 it still says i have the wrong version any ideas? :/

For both of you having issues with the cba. > redownload the CBA from Armaholic. It should fix the issue! Link - http://www.armaholic...age.php?id=6231  (just copy and paste)

@Mantas191 - Are you downgrading properly? Google how to downgrade to from a higher version. IF you are just installing 98836, it won't override the files you had, its weird. You have to delete a few files, plus some other stuff then reinstall the patch. Gah

Yes, you either need Vuze or Utorrent to download the files, then follow the link and the prompts from the first page.

i mean im not sure now whenever i go into the game it says that im on the correct version but the game doesnt load the mod and the servers dont appear will i jsut start from scratch?

Great now It now says "You cannot play/edit this mission; it depends on downloadable content that has been deleted" ect. Please help me I really would like to experience the Joys of this server. Sorry if its a bother this seems like the only thing that is complicating me

When I join it says invalid DAYZ_CODE. Where can I obtain the 1.4.4 DAYZ_CODE
